Marketing Agency MAXX names Will Tinson as MD to lead a restructured team into the next chapter of their story.
MAXX is a marketing agency with 27 years of heritage and incredible long-standing client relationships. Originally founded by Dermot de Courcy Robinson, with Jackie Blaker directing the business for the last 10 years, the pair have now decided to step away from day-to-day management. Jackie and Dermot will retain their combined 66% ownership of the agency but move to 3-day/week consultancy roles. Dermot will become the company’s Chairman.

Although only 25, Will has built an impressive resume. Following his early career at a leading pharmaceutical creative agency as well as running his own local marketing business, Will has spent the last 3 years at MAXX steering the agency’s brand and service offering, driving our growth in an ever-changing landscape. His input has significantly contributed to MAXX having the most successful period in its 27-year history. Last year, Will also purchased a significant shareholding in MAXX and is ideally placed to take the role of Managing Director.

Alongside Will, the agency will be led by a senior manager team including the familiar faces of Creative Director Matt Barrett , Head of Digital James Briggs and Chris Billingham who has been promoted to Content Director, a new role that will oversee the Video, Marketing Strategy, Paid Advertising and Social Media departments.
With the growth of MAXX’s social media offering in content creation and online community management, Jess Staines is promoted to Head of Social. We also welcome to our social team, Josh Viney who has already developed considerable experience in e-gaming and online content communities.
After MAXX’s recent acquisition, we were lucky enough to be joined by Rachel Dixon who has over 30 years of proven account management experience and becomes our Head of Client Services to ensure quality and client satisfaction is retained as we grow.
