Know Your Digital Marketing: Introducing the Digital Dashboard

By Conor Bant, Digital Communications Manager

As we spend more and more time online, it's natural that this is reflected in our marketing efforts and budgets. With a variety of platforms and the minefield that is Google Analytics to consider, keeping on top of your digital performance can be difficult; businesses can struggle to navigate the plethora of metrics available to them and find out exactly what’s going on – and what they all actually mean to their business.

To help clients take control of their online marketing, we have developed a new packaged service; the digital dashboard.

Starting with a blank canvas, we work with clients to build a bespoke, centralised location for all key metrics such as website hits, conversions, email campaign integration and search engine performance. The digital dashboard also includes on-page heatmapping, highlighting how visitors engage with websites; what gets clicked and what is ignored. It might turn out that people just don’t see that critical call to action. We can even build custom widgets to display critical information such as GANTT charts, performance targets and financial data.

Whilst it is useful having all this data displayed on one screen, what really makes this valuable is the reporting provided from it. Our digital communications and marketing teams assess the metrics and discover how and why the website is performing as it is. Finding flawed steps in the process or opportunities to enhance search rankings, the analysis can inform small changes but that can have a big impact.

If this sounds like your kind of thing, we would love to show you it in action. Give me, Conor, a call on 01635 521224 or send a message to [email protected]  and we can get talking!
