Printing

How can you make your school stand out amongst the competition?

Choosing a school for your child is an exciting but daunting prospect. It’s a decision that makes a definitive impact on their life, both in terms of short-term happiness and long-term well-being. It’s a process that no parent takes lightly and one that they will spend many nights going back and forth over.

Is this the “renaissance of print”? [Part 2]

In the first of this two part blog series (which you can find here), based on my presentation at an event hosted by Oracle in Reading, I talked about the power of print in a digital age. It’s time to take that further and delve into how branding and digital marketing fits into all of this…

Helping to deliver Topcon’s vision at Optrafair

By Jennifer Baggaley

On 1-3 April, the Birmingham NEC played host to Optrafair, the UK’s leading optical trade show. We were delighted to join our client Topcon at the show.

Topcon, a leading manufacturer of ophthalmic and optometry equipment had an impressive presence at the exhibition, with no less than five stands showcasing its equipment, software and education programme; Topcon University.

Using new HD print technology

Recently MAXX took on an exciting new project, using some fantastic new printing technology. After redesigning Marlborough College’s biannual newsletter and delivering the new format earlier in the year, the client asked us to produce their Autumn edition and we had some big ideas for it.

Seeing the results of hard work at Optrafair

Last weekend MAXX travelled to NEC near Birmingham to attend Optrafair, the UK’s leading optical exhibition. Our Social Media Manager Ellie and Managing Director Dermot were there to support our clients Topcon and watch one of our latest projects coming to life!

Topcon is a manufacturer of optical equipment for ophthalmology and has a strong presence at Optrafair every year. For this year’s event MAXX designed, printed and delivered a suite of marketing materials including 2 x 48 sheet billboards and an advertising campaign to promote the company and it’s stand.

Make your business shine

Newbury-based printed circuit board company, Garner Osbourne needed an up-to-date brochure that portrayed the company’s position in the market place, to reinforce their messaging to potential and existing clients. MAXX commissioned and art-directed an intensive photo shoot of the whole manufacturing process, used image-rich A3 spreads with powerful typography and contrasted these with pages of information with documentary-style images that demonstrated the production process.
