MAXX Design and Griffins to share free business advice

MAXX Design and Griffins Chartered Accountants are offering local businesses free advice on how to make their business practices more cost-effective.The two Newbury-based companies will hold a morning of seminars at Arlington Arts Centre, near junction 13 of the M4, from 8.00am to 11.00am on 1 October 2008.

The seminars will focus on finance- and marketing-related business practices. Griffins will explore how businesses can look after their cash and improve business efficiencies, while MAXX Design will look at cost-effective ways to make a business stand out from its competitors.

Marketing and finance are often seen as being at odds with one another, but they flow from the same objectives, so it is important that they are considered together,

said Dermot de Courcy Robinson, managing director of MAXX Design.

Jean Piercy, Partner, Griffins Chartered Accountants, added,

These unsettled times call for a rational approach to both marketing and finance. Our seminars
will look at some sensible ways to develop a business while making efficiencies to avoid putting
it at risk.

MAXX Design and Griffins invite interested parties to sign up http://www.griffins-maxx.co.uk and join them for croissants and bacon rolls at 8.00am in time for an 8.30pm start.
