Graphic design to revolutionise your business

What does your colour choice say about you?

When MAXX had its own rebrand earlier this year, we introduced a rainbow colour palette across all our printed materials – this is also reflected in our new website.

We thought it would be fun to have our own range of multi-coloured business cards to reflect our new bold use of colour. These have gone down particularly well – they certainly make an impact, which after all is what our business is all about!

But when you are offered a choice of multi-coloured business cards, which one do YOU choose? And what does your choice say about you?

Which colour would you choose?

Here’s a bit of fun that might shed a light on your choices…

  • Yellow is cheery and optimistic. If you select a yellow card it indicates a positive and spontaneous nature.
  • Magenta can be flirty with a flair for the romantic (sounds like Dermot – but is it?).
  • Orange is a warm colour. Choosing an orange card is evidence of a vibrant and energetic personality.
  • Green is a natural, soothing colour symbolising hope and growth. People who favour green enjoy solving problems and consider all perspectives before making a decision.
  • Red is energetic and bold – one of the most powerful colours. Those who love red are confident and enjoy being around people.
  • Blue is a considered peaceful and tranquil. Choosing blue indicates a compassionate and devoted person.
  • Purple is regal, associated with wealth and luxury. Those who favour purple are intuitive and often very creative.
  • Jade/Teal If you like jade green, you are understanding and empathetic. It's easy for you to see where people are coming from. You have a knack for bringing very different people together with positive results.
